The Setting

My family and I moved into our home in Bicester in 2018 from Oxford. It is in a lovely location just 10 minutes walk to Bure Park Primary. We are within walking distance of many parks, toddler groups and Bure Park nature reserve.

I know how important it is to provide a home from home environment for your child, therefore I work in partnership with parents to create a stable, nurturing setting for all children in my care. I focus on all areas of learning through both free play and structured play. Children are encouraged to join in with themed activities, however participation is not essential as free play is strongly encouraged. We particularly enjoy creative play, painting, drawing, reading, nursery rhymes, collecting outdoor treasures, visiting the library, having fun at the park, and lots of outdoor play in the garden.

I take the children to the local toddler groups regularly so they get the chance to play with others, whilst still getting the individual care they need from me. I work towards meeting their next steps ensuring they reach their milestones in a way tailored to them as an individual, to help prepare them for school.

I use an app called Baby's Days, which is a secure online diary system so you can follow your child’s progress and view photos from their day as they happen. It also contains contracts, policies, progress, next steps, invoices and everything we need all in one place, accessible on your phone.

Children are encouraged to play outside every day regardless of the weather. Therefore it is important they are sent in weather appropriate clothes.

Open Hours

I am open from 7.00am - 6:00pm Monday - Friday, both term time and during school holidays. Please ensure your child is collected at the agreed collection time so that I can stick to the usual routines for the rest of the children in my care.

Occasional extensions to these hours can be accommodated if agreed in advance.

I am closed during bank holidays and will not charge on these days. However I may work bank holidays on request.
